📜 Sana Africa – User Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sana Africa, Africa’s trusted wellness and beauty booking platform connecting you to verified service providers across spas, salons, and fitness centers.

By accessing or using the Sana Africa Platform (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before making any bookings.


1. Definitions

  • Sana Africa – The platform operated by Sana Africa Ltd., enabling users to discover, book, and pay for verified wellness and beauty services.

  • User – Any individual who creates an account, browses, or books services through the Platform.

  • Vendor – A registered and verified service provider offering services through Sana Africa.

  • Wallet – A secure virtual balance where user payments are held temporarily during booking until service completion.

  • Service – Any wellness, beauty, or fitness-related activity offered by a Vendor through the Platform.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to:

  • Abide by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Provide accurate personal information.

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
    If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.


3. Platform Use

  • Users must be 18 years or older to create an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Bookings can be made through the app or website using the provided service listings.

  • Users are expected to arrive on time for appointments and respect vendor policies.


4. Fees and Commission

  • Sana Africa currently charges 0% commission or service fees to Users.

  • You will pay only the amount displayed for the selected service during booking — no hidden charges or deductions.

  • Prices are set directly by Vendors and shown transparently on the Platform.

  • Should any user-related fees be introduced in the future (e.g., convenience or cancellation fees), advance notice will be given at least 14 days before implementation.


5. Payments and Wallet System

  • All payments are securely processed through the Platform.

  • Funds are temporarily held in the Sana Africa Wallet system until service completion is confirmed.

  • Upon confirmation, funds are released to the Vendor after deducting the vendor’s commission.

  • Users can pay using cards, bank transfers, or other approved payment methods.

  • Sana Africa never stores raw card details; all transactions are processed through trusted payment gateways.


6. Service Confirmation and Completion

  • After receiving the booked service, Users must confirm completion through the Platform.

  • If no confirmation is made within 24 hours, the booking may be auto-confirmed.

  • If there is a dispute, Users must contact support within 48 hours after the scheduled service time.


7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Users may cancel bookings according to the Vendor’s stated cancellation policy displayed on their listing.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original payment method or User Wallet.

  • Refund requests must be made within 48 hours after service cancellation.

  • Sana Africa reserves the right to decline refund requests made outside the stated timelines.


8. Disputes

  • In the event of a disagreement between a User and a Vendor, Sana Africa will act as a neutral mediator.

  • The Platform may hold or refund payments depending on the outcome of the investigation.

  • Sana Africa’s decision after proper review will be final.


9. Code of Conduct for Users

To ensure a safe and respectful environment, Users must:

  • Treat Vendors with courtesy and respect.

  • Avoid inappropriate, abusive, or discriminatory behavior.

  • Refrain from requesting or encouraging off-platform payments.

  • Respect Vendor property and privacy during services.

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in account suspension or permanent deactivation.


10. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Sana Africa collects personal data (name, phone number, email, etc.) solely for booking and communication purposes.

  • We do not sell or share user data with third parties without consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Sana Africa provides a booking platform only and does not directly deliver services.

  • Vendors are independent businesses responsible for their own performance and compliance with laws.

  • While we vet vendors for quality and safety, Sana Africa is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from service use.


12. Account Termination

Sana Africa may suspend or terminate a User account if:

  • Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected.

  • Multiple complaints are received.

  • Platform misuse or payment manipulation occurs.


13. Platform Changes and Updates

  • Sana Africa may update its platform, features, or pricing at any time.

  • Users will be notified in advance if such updates affect their usage or rights.

  • Continued use after updates implies acceptance of revised Terms.


14. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, text, and software belong to Sana Africa Ltd.
Users may not copy, modify, or redistribute platform content without written consent.
