Sana Africa – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sana Africa. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform (the "Platform"), which connects wellness and beauty service providers ("Vendors") with customers ("Users") across Africa. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Definitions

• Sana Africa: The digital platform owned by Sana Africa Ltd., facilitating bookings and partnerships for verified wellness and beauty services.

• Users: Individuals booking services through the Platform.

• Vendors: Service providers offering wellness and beauty services through the Platform.

• Wallet: A virtual balance associated with Vendor and User accounts where transactions are held securely.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using Sana Africa, both Vendors and Users confirm their acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

 

3. Platform Use

For Users:

• Users must be 18 years or older to create an account.

• All bookings are subject to vendor availability and terms.

• Payment is made through the platform and held in escrow (Wallet) until services are confirmed completed.

• Users are responsible for verifying booking details and adhering to cancellation policies.

For Vendors:

• Vendors must provide accurate business details, licenses, and certifications.

• Vendors agree to only list services they are authorized and trained to provide.

• Vendors are paid weekly post-service confirmation, less agreed commission.

• Vendor earnings reflect in Wallet and become withdrawable upon service delivery and platform confirmation.

 

4. Commission

Sana Africa operates on a commission-based revenue model. The applicable commission is deducted from each successful transaction. This rate may vary and will be clearly stated in Vendor agreements.

 

5. Service Confirmation and Disputes

• Service completion must be confirmed by the User on the Platform.

• If a User fails to confirm, Sana Africa may auto-confirm after a defined period (e.g., 24 hours) unless a dispute is raised.

• All disputes should be submitted via the Help Center within 48 hours.

 

6. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations by Users are governed by the Vendor’s stated policy.

• Refunds, if applicable, are processed back into the User’s Wallet or original payment method.

• Vendors may cancel appointments only under valid circumstances and must notify the User and Platform.

 

7. Vendor Code of Conduct

• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and professionalism.

• Do not solicit direct bookings from Users outside the platform.

• Abide by local business regulations and health codes.

 

8. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate personal and contact details.

• Arrive on time for scheduled services.

• Refrain from abusive or inappropriate behavior toward vendors or staff.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sana Africa platform, including logos, text, images, and software, is the property of Sana Africa Ltd. and may not be copied or used without permission.

 

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our [Privacy Policy] governs the collection and use of your data.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

Sana Africa is not responsible for the quality of services rendered by vendors. We are a marketplace and do not provide services directly. Any disputes must be resolved between the User and Vendor, with Sana Africa mediating when necessary.

 

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate any account for violations of these Terms, fraud, misconduct, or abuse of the platform.

 

13. Amendments

Sana Africa reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of updated terms.
